The transience of expat life makes it too easy for Christians to be secluded, lonely and vulnerable. Many have left families, churches and social networks back home and are here in Beijing for a limited term. In such circumstances, it’s all the more important to be involved in and accountable to a local church.
Because we believe church membership is a biblical concept, we encourage regular attendees to apply. If you are interested in being a member of Beijing Baptist Church, speak to one of our elders or deacons on a Sunday morning.

Serve
At Beijing Baptist Church, we believe that a proper Biblical outcome of worship is service to God in the church and to others in the world. Scan the Serve QR code to learn more and sign up to serve at BBC.
Application to volunteer
To better safeguard and protect our children and teens, BBC requires all children and youth leaders to be either members or associate members.
Children’s workers are defined as any persons who serve in a ministry at BBC that involves children below the age of 18. These ministries include (but are not limited to) caretakers in the nursery; teachers and helpers in children’s church; and any persons involved in a children’s program at a church retreat or similar activity.
If you prefer to fill out a paper copy instead of doing the online application please click here to download and print a PDF copy of the volunteer application. You can also ask one of our Deacons or Elders at Sunday service for a paper copy to fill out.
